With the age of social media, we are always updated of what our friends are doing, where they are, what they have, what their house looks like [creepy lol], and importantly what they feel. There is nothing wrong with the mentioned above because they are entitled with their own opinions and doings, do whatever they want to do if that makes them happy and sleep at night. Actually, I envy those who can freely express themselves on Internet without being ashamed or regretting it afterwards.
Contrasting to what I am personally, I am really shy on what I post on the Internet. Honestly, I think I’m not good in expressing myself to other people. I don’t know how to tell them how they make me feel, how important they are to me and how to tell them I love them very much with all those flowery words. I rarely posts photos of family/friends with a very good message during special occasions. I don’t know how to do it. Probably most of the times they are unappreciated but the truth is I really appreciate every thing they do for me. I just don’t know how to express it properly. I think one of the benefits I am loving-hating about online chats is that the person you’re talking to cannot see you (unless you’re video chatting) and you can let out a lot of expression without the facial expression needed. You can type out that I am really for you while keeping a straight face but you are really happy for them.
So if my friends are seeing this, I just want you guys to know that I really love you but I’m not cheesy like other of your friends. I am really listening to all of your stories but I just naturally look uninterested. I may not post photos with really long messages about you on your birthday just you know I care about you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for keeping up with me and loving me. You guys are the best!
